I was looking for a decent yet inexpensive MP3 player for my foster son and this fit the bill. It has also verified to be quite durable -- he's not exactly delicate with his belongings. The headphones it came with, however, were not as lucky. They broke within the very first week or two. To be fair although, so did the second pair of headphones I bought him. The pair that has lasted him the longest may be the 1 from the dollar store, so go figure. Acquiring the songs onto the player was somewhat intuitive for me, and he has had no trouble figuring out how you can use the controls on his own. He utilizes it fairly a lot exclusively for music, so I cannot comment on the video/picture quality.
